You’re ready to do your Q&A session! Install the Astronaut Q&A mobile app (available in both iOS and Android), find a quiet place, input your code & follow the instructions in the mobile app.

You’re ready to do your Q&A session! You can do the Q&A session in either our mobile app or from your desktop (if our system approves your internet speed).

Option 1. Complete your Q&A session on mobile. Install the Astronaut Q&A mobile app (available in both iOS and Android), find a quiet place, input your code (or click the link in your email) & follow the instructions in the mobile app.

Option 2. Complete your Q&A session in desktop/laptop browser. Make sure you’re in a place you won’t be interrupted, click the link in your email and a new browser tab will open. Then follow the instructions to complete your Q&A session.

We need you to check a few things! See below.

  • Using Chrome browser: To make sure your microphone access permission is allowed, see here How to change camera access permission.
  • Using Mozilla Firefox browser: Make sure your microphone access permission is allowed, by accessing Permissions by using any of these:
    1. Right-click a blank area of the page and choose View Page Info > Permissions
    2. On Menu bar go to Tools menu > Page Info > Permissions
    3. Click the padlock or "i" icon to the left of the site address, then the ">" icon, then More Information > Permissions
    Scroll down to "Use the Microphone" and uncheck the "Use default" box, make sure a bullet appears in front of "Always Ask". Then click "Allow". Changes you make in this dialog are saved as you go, so after making the change, you can close the dialog.
  • Using iOS app, Astronaut Q&A: Navigate to Settings > Privacy > Microphone, and make sure the Astronaut is turned on.
  • Using Android app, Astronaut Q&A: Go to Settings > Security & Privacy > Application Permissions and make sure the Astronaut is turned on for Microphone.

The Astronaut Q&A app is available in both iOS (iOS 9 & above, inc iPhone 5s) and Android (4.4.2 & above). If your phone does not fulfill these requirements, we encourage you to borrow a friend’s or family member’s phone or complete the Q&A session in your web browser.

On a very rare occasion we encounter a problem with Android, in particularly Nexus devices. If your device experiences problems, we encourage you to report it us (please email help@astrnt.co). To complete your Q&A session we suggest you borrow a friend’s or family member’s phone, or use your web browser. We’re here to help.

We love our mobile apps, but you can also use your laptop or desktop to do your Q&A session. We support Google Chrome (recommended), Firefox, Opera. Please note, we do not support Safari, Microsoft Edge & Internet Explorer. All of these are currently in the experimental stage as WebRTC support was recently released in these systems. Our team is working hard to test them out to work through any bugs before we roll out general support.

There is nothing you can do, and Team Astronaut do not have any rights to give you a second chance. To avoid this scenario please read all instructions carefully. If you wish, you can also contact your recruiter directly if you want to request for second chance.
Please note that all your answer before timeout are uploaded to our database.

If you have started your Q&A session, and the internet drops, the overall session timer will keep running. Please reconnect immediately. If you have completed all answers, and the internet connection drops while uploading your answers, do not worry because your answers will continue to upload after you are reconnected.

To avoid this problem, before you start and if you’re using the web browser, before you start your Q&A session, please make sure your internet connection is stable. Our system will do spot checks of your speed.

You can track this in two ways. Firstly, you will see an upload page after you finish your Q&A session that shows the status of upload. Secondly, when all answers are uploaded our system will send you a confirmation email.

Astronaut do not have rights to give share your interview result. Please contact your recruiter for further information about your result and recruitment process.

The reason you receive this email is that the recruiter is wanting your CV. Please read the email carefully and send your CV (in PDF format) by replying the email directly. The document must be in PDF format.
